We are opening again on 31st May

Well, here we are once again, cleaning and polishing, painting, cutting flowers and arranging the pool for summer, and yes, we are hoping for guests, whether in the cortijo or in the cottages.

Our doors are open once more on 31st May, and we are starting with a short cookery course of four days duration.

Jeannie and I have been jabbed and we are feeling a lot braver; besides we live on top of a hill with sunshine and breezes, and nature all around. We have felt so lucky during the last year, but we have certainly missed that human contact and inspiration from guests arriving from all over the world.

We are particularly looking forward to our summer writing courses with Elaine Kingett.

Families often opt to stay in one of the cottages, where they can be by themselves, and now we will drive down with dinner in the evening if you don’t want to have to cook or go out. Cottages are about 1Km from the main house down a forest track. They are nestled in the woods and orchards and guests can order organic veggie boxes from Oscar or Mica. Each cottage has a well equipped kitchen.
