A celebratory birthday weekend for a private group

We’ve just had the most joyful time, remembering how good it is to host private parties like we used to do pre-pandemic.

A group of friends and family from the UK took over the whole house and the cottages, and we organised dinner parties, a bird watching walk with a nature guide, a paella picnic in the country, and a flamenco evening in the poolhouse. After the dancing dinner was served at the house, and everyone being in a musical mood, some singing and guitar went on into the night.

It’s lovely once more to see people enjoying themselves. There are a few photographs on our Instagram feed, but we are aware that these visits are private so have not taken many. Do check out the feed for late September 2021.
