As world of digital photography becomes ever more complicated from High resolution megapixel madness to Ultra sophisticated processing software NAURAL LIGHT-NATURAL FOOD workshops offer you a chance to explore a different approach to food photography and styling...a natural one.

Using available light and concentrating on the amazing local produce, Acclaimed food, interiors, travel and lifestyle photographer TIM CLINCH and professional cooks and cookery writer Jeannie Chesterton in Andalucia demonstrate to a select group of students how to get the most out of what is in front of your lens...the natural way.

Daily classes include the natural approach to food photography without the use of artificial lighting, using reflectors and diffusers to enhance your images, cooking and styling, working on a photo-shoot for a major publication, building portfolio content and story development, and sharing many 'tricks of the trade'. All work is digital, and students' work will be reviewed on a daily basis and posted to a dedicated NATURAL LIGHT-NATURAL FOOD gallery. All cooking at both locations is done with local and natural ingredients.

These are very much 'hands-on' workshops. Students work directly with Tim using their own cameras, no matter how basic. A laptop and an external hard drive are always on hand, but it is essential that students bring their own equipment as well. A questionnaire is sent to each student before commencing the course so that we can assess their levels and specific points of interest.

And don't forget, food photography isn't only about recipes and ingredients. Workshops are 7 hours per day, starting after breakfast at 10.00. We stop for lunch at 1.30 and, yes, we ARE in Spain so a siesta, or a swim in the amazing infinity pool follows! Classes resume at 4.00 and finish in the golden evening light at 8.00. We will also visit the local town of Aracena and visit some of the region’s best food producers and village artisans.

So...if you want to improve your basic photography skills, hone your food photography and styling expertise, kick start your portfolio, or simply have a wonderful time eating fantastic food cooked by an experienced chef whilst taking beautiful images...NATURAL LIGHT-NATURAL FOOD is for you!
